Notre Dame Golden Dome letterpress

8×10 Letterpress on Crane’s Lettra, Pearl White

This minimalist drawing of Notre Dame’s Golden Dome is part of the work done by artist Marilia Beltrame for the Bucket Series. The Golden Dome was added to this building in 1882 and was most recently regilded in 2005. The regilding process uses only about a fist-full of gold leaf to cover the entire structure.  The gold foil applied by Boxcar Press accentuates the piece and creates a look that makes this a great conversation piece, fit for any room.  This is a limited run of 100 and there will not be another run.  The price will continue to rise as quantities become more limited.
